Cool Car Race is a charity event, founded in 2010 by two Danish entrepreneurs Mark Nielsen and Jacob Risgaard, with its headquarters located in Aalborg, Denmark. The goal was to create a brand that combined charity, great company and sexy cars. This was achieved with a bang!
In 2012, Cool Car Race 3000 was established and planned as a marketing stunt for the original Cool Car Race at the military airport. The awareness and attractiveness turned out to be significantly higher than expected, and gave the opportunity to travel across the country, spreading the awareness for the good cause.
In 2014 Cool Car Race 3000 was renamed Cool Car Race.
In 2015 the world’s first Supercar Symphony took place at Musikkens Hus in Aalborg. A conductor ensured sweet music from the super- and hypercars. If you missed it, you can watch it righthere.
Cool Car Race has since grown bigger, gaining more and more traction every year. Since 2012 the event has accumulated millions for charity with the numbers straightnin’ the curves, flatnin the hills and climbing steadily every year.
In 2022 we broke the record with 2.648.181 kr.
DKK for charity.
